Note: There have been several omnibus collections of Carr novels -- 'threesomes' as well as a Carr book among other authors, such as in the Detective Book Club trio series of the mid-1900s. He also collaborated with members of the Detection Club in a couple of round-robin books, where each person writes a chapter in turn. And he did some amateur plays/skits for amusement in college and later in clubs. Toward the end of his life he was the major book reviewer for Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine writing under the topic The Jury Box -- these reviews have not been collected. Most of his radio plays, a significant output, are also unpublished (I would like to cite Doug Greene's long Carr radio script for 'Devil Knows You're Dead' (?) but that went out of print so quickly that no copy can be found anywhere!). |
